was born in Nashville, TN in 1944, and makes his home in Worcester, MA. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, where he studied with MacIvor Reddie and Murray Wentworth.
Upon graduation, he was employed for many years as a commercial artist with an advertising agency. There he met artist Alexander Gazonas who introduced him to painting outdoors. This marked a turning point in his career and a renewed commitment to painting. Bob paints with watercolor all summer and oil in the winter. The freshness of outdoor work has become his passion.
