JOHN CALABRO’s work contains a strong sense of design and composition gained from his early training with German Master Instructor Ernst Lohrmann. He also attended Pair College of Art. His watercolor style of atmospheric realism is inspired by nature and the love of natural beauty.

John loves to travel and paint his experiences on location en plein air, striving to portray his feelings of place.

John’s work hangs in many corporate and private collections. He maintains a summer studio in Rockport, MA and a winter studio in Spring, TX.
