SOPHINA G. COTY is an alumna of the Boston Museum School. With selected group venues at the Butler Institute and the Salmagundi Club, she earned honors, including a Boston Globe interview. She has had solo venues at Clark University, Copley Society and the Rockport Art Association. Her diverse disciplines are represented in private and public collections world-wide, including Purdue and Boston Universities.
In partnership with her late husband Sam Coty, she established the Coty Gallery on Tuna Wharf, Rockport. 1964 –1994. The artist’s philosophy embraces “the expression of feelings with emphasis on the delicacy and vibrancy in my watercolor flowers that keeps them fresh forever”.
