LEONARD G. JOINER was born in Beverly, Massachusetts in 1943, lived in Andover, Massachusetts from age three to thirty. Involved in drawing at an early age he attended Vesper George School of Art from 1963-1965. Worked at Raytheon as an artist from 1969-2001. Living on a working farm in Methuen, Massachusetts the last 18 years.
“My medium is graphite, which is great because I can work on it just about anywhere. Always
keeping my eyes open for New England farm and country scenes. Not always focusing on the big picture but hunting for that close-up or unique angle. I have a keen interest in form, texture and the seasonal light.”
