SKIP MONTELLO is a sport fishing charter Captain, avid photographer and writer working and living in Rockport (Cape Ann) Massachusetts. His interest in photography developed during his career at the Polaroid Corporation. He spent more than 30 years at Polaroid as a photographic scientist, engineer and technology leader. Some of his photo microscopy works earned him several significant awards in the world wide Nikon Small World photography competition. Over the years he has moved from film based media to digital. His current photography interests are varied but tend toward seascapes, landscapes and nature.
