DONALD ALLEN MOSHER is a graduate of Vesper George School of Art and co-owner of the Mosher Gallery. He opened his first gallery on Cape Ann in 1974, and is a native of Massachusetts. For four years, he served as vice president of the Rockport Art Association and as the RAA’s curator. He is a member of many organizations, including the New England Watercolor Society, Guild of Boston Artists, the Copley Society, International Society of Marine Painters and the Salmagundi Club. He has won over 150 awards and his paintings hang in several museums and institutions, including The State House in Boston and the Peabody-Essex Museum in Salem. Don has exhibited at the National Academy and the American Watercolor Society. He also has been featured in several periodicals and is listed in Who’s Who in American Art. The Moshers are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their gallery in Rockport, and 33rd on Cape Ann. Donald recently authored a new book The Seasons of New England which features over 100 colored images of his paintings.
