recycled fabric through Batik, Tye-Dye and Marbling. Use the
altered fabric to create unique mixed media collages for framing or

fabric artist Joan Schulze. |

Have fun while learning to develop your drawing & painting skills.
Become familiar with the elements of basic drawing, observation,
perspective & composition, as well as color mixing & watercolor
techniques. Plein air drawing & painting methods will be used with
beautiful Rockport as your outdoor studio. |

Cartooning - Will Workman ~ August 15 - 19 ~ 10:00 - 12:00 ~
Ages 8 & Up
Create your very own cartoon! Students will select a format, decide
on a story type and design a character showing action, lighting &
stagecraft. With the focus on narrative, students will complete
their stories in page or strip form, accompanied by a poster of
their characters. |
