Membership in the Rockport Art Association is a privilege that has a long tradition and rich history.

Memberships other than Exhibiting are open to all and come
with some very attractive benefits.

Our Exhibiting Members are admitted through a jury process which evaluates the merit of their work, based on professionalism of technique and originality. They are some of the country's most talented fine artists and fine art photographers. Many also belong to prestigious national artistic organizations, and teach all over the United States and abroad.

We cordially invite you to become a Contributing Member. Take advantage of the artistic and cultural opportunities offered by the Rockport Art Association, one of the oldest and most active Art Associations in the USA. Benefits of RAA Membership:

RAA Contributing Members support the goals and mission of the Rockport Art Association. They are dedicated to fostering local art and to contributing to the understanding and appreciation of the visual arts of Cape Ann. Contributing Membership in the Rockport Art Association provides a unique opportunity to be supportive of a diverse group of local artists, their enrichment programs, our distinctive gallery and our spectacular museum collection

  

RAA Membership offers exciting and unique opportunities to serve our community by furthering the programs and goals of the organization. You will have the privilege of participating in the Contributing Members’ Annual Exhibition. Benefits include invitations to all openings, art lectures, painting demonstrations, films, musical events and special fundraising activities. You will also receive our newsletter and special email announcements. The opportunity to get to know the Rockport Art Association Exhibiting Artists and their work are reasons to join as well.

Memberships are in effect for one year from the date of joining.
Contributions for membership are tax deductible within the limits provided by law.

EXHIBITING MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Painting, Graphics, Sculpture & Photography Artists are admitted as Exhibiting Members through a jury process, which evaluates the merit of their work, based on professionalism of technique and originality.

Residency in New England of at least 30 consecutive days, past or present is required for admission.


The membership jury meets once a year in early November.


Drop-Off Day for for new Exhibiting Membership reviews are posted on our website calendar.
