WEEKLY ADULT STUDIO CLASSES
TUESDAYS - OIL PAINTING FOR ALL LEVELS with Ron Straka 9:30AM - 12:30PM
Winter Session I - January 10th thru February 7th
Winter Session II - February 14th thru March 13th
Spring Session I - March 20th thru April 17th
Spring Session II - April 24th thru May 15th
 

Ron teaches basic to advanced oil techniques.  Still life and landscape painting are included. All are welcome to sign up for the entire session or "pay as you go", only attending the number of classes you choose. "Pay as you go"  will be on a first come basis. Space is limited ~ pre-registration is recommended. Students meet in the RAA studio located on Stone Barn Lane. $75 for a 5-week session (I or II) or $20 per class

WEDNESDAY - DRAWING FOR ALL LEVELS with Paul Ciaramitaro 9:30AM - 12:30PM
Winter Session I - January 11th thru February 8th
Winter Session II - February 15th thru March 14th
Spring Session I - March 21st thru April 18th
Spring Session II - April 25th thru May 16th
 

Paul teaches basic to advanced drawing techniques. This is a "lecture & draw along" class. Session I  will focus on learning perspective, vanishing point, horizon line & station point. This will lead to drawings of everyday objects surrounding us, leading to buildings and neighborhood scenes. Session II will focus on figure drawing made simple. "You don't know it yet, but I will show you how easy drawing
can be!" Students meet in the RAA studio located on Stone Barn Lane. $75 for a 5-week session (re-registration is required)


WEDNESDAY - WATERCOLOR FOR ALL LEVELS with Caleb Stone - 1PM-4PM
Winter Session I - January 11th thru February 8th
Winter Session II - February 15th thru March 14th
Spring Session I - March 21st thru April 18th
Spring Session II - April 25th thru May 16th

WEDNESDAY - INDOOR MIXED MEDIA FOR ALL LEVELS with Susan Guest-McPhail 10:00AM - 1:00PM

Energize your art work with  an infusion of color and collage. Develop a new language of painting with paper, glue and found objects. This is a process class to help you find your inner child. All welcome to sign up for the entire session or "pay as you go", only attending the number of classes you choose. "Pay as you go"  will be on a first come basis. Students meet in the RAA Hibbard Gallery.

$75 for the 5-week session or $20 per class

WEEKLY ADULT OUTDOOR CLASSES
WEDNESDAYS -  ACRYLIC/OIL PAINTING FOR ALL LEVELS with Susan Guest-McPhail 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Paint the colors of summer with a limited palette and find your plein air voice. This class is for the novice painter, as well as those who wish to develop their expertise. Individual creativity and a personal approach to outdoor painting using design skills will be emphasized. Students may work in other media if they choose.
• All students meet outside the RAA Main Street entrance between 8:45-9:00am. Outdoor classes meet for eight weeks. The instruction will be less formal than our workshops, but no less informative. Students will receive a short demonstration on-site each day as well as individual instruction and critiques. Advance registration is not required. Calsses meet inside the RAA in inclement weather.
$200 for eight classes or $30 per class.

THURSDAYS - WATERCOLOR PAINTING FOR ALL LEVELS with Carole Loiacono 9:00AM - 1:00PM

The aim of this class is to capture the spirit of the outdoors by creating a painting with good composition, strong values and exciting color. Working on location we students will focus on using the media to its fullest to obtain optimum results.
