Donations are necessary to continue the good work we’ve begun...

As we begin our 98th season, we would first like to share some of our accomplishments from this past year, including: the offering of a wide range of workshops, adult and children classes, sketch groups, artist demonstrations, gallery walks, lectures and the installation of almost fifty exhibitions.

Our community outreach includes the annual Rockport Public Schools Art Show and Scholarship Program which awards three scholarships to graduating Rockport High School seniors pursuing a post-secondary education in art. RAA&M also provides guest artists and materials for a Visiting Artist Series in the Rockport Public Schools.

We have contributed to the creative community with a free Veteran’s Program, Grassroots: An Emerging Artists Exhibition, monthly Artist Demonstrations at Den-Mar, and collaborations with the Rockport Millbrook Meadow Conservancy, Cape Ann Plein Air, Summer Star Wildlife Sanctuary, Cape Ann Museum and Endicott College.

Our three special exhibitions this year include: American Etchings and Benson Family Ties, Stow Wengenroth: New England’s Master Lithographer and The Art of Collecting: A Fundraising Exhibition scheduled to open this December.

We are proud of all the work that our remarkable staff has accomplished with the help of our dedicated volunteers, the Board of Governors and the generous support of people like you. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this year’s Annual Appeal. We are deeply grateful for your continued support.

T.M. Nicholas
