A seascape must convey the living power of the ocean in a single, still painting. How do we create that sense of motion and emotion, and create powerful crashing waves and stronger seascapes?

Join Jeanne Rosier Smith, master pastelist and renowned seascape painter for a revealing painting demo on capturing the sea in pastel. She’ll share her strategies and practical tips for heightening the sense of movement, power, and emotion in an ocean scene.
