The Cape Ann Summer School of ARt
RAA&M’s Cape Ann Summer School of Art consists of four contiguous artist workshops with instructors who not only teach the techniques of the Cape Ann School, but also embody the spirit and intention behind them.
In addition to painting instruction, all workshops include guided gallery walks throughout the area, evening lectures, and an exhibition of historic Cape Ann paintings at the RAA&M.

The Teen Arts Collaborative will work with composers from Orchestra on the Hill to create visual art and sound art (music) about our human relationship with the sea, which will become a concert this spring at the Shalin Liu Performance Center.

Create Together is a drop-in program and a great way to try your hand at creating art in an informal, inspiring environment. A different art activity will be offered in our large galleries each session. Art-making activities are designed for all ages and abilities. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
