2025 Artist Demo Series
In the spirit and tradition of the art community on Cape Ann, RAA&M presents the 2025 Artist Demo Series. Six artists with national and global reputations will conduct these events. These artists are known for their abilities and talent as well as having accomplished communication skills. Experience and learn from these accomplished painters and be a part of the great history and creative energy of Cape Ann. Season Pass now available!
Card to culture
The Rockport Art Association & Museum is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program and offer free registration to artist demonstrations (up to 10 registrations per demo) for EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders. Cardholders may register for a demo in person at the RAA&M by showing their card, over the phone by providing their card’s number, or online by entering their card’s number in the required field.

Joe will give an introduction to scratchboard materials and tools, discuss various techniques, and show and discuss some completed scratchboard pieces. He will then demonstrate the use of these tools and techniques on a variety of pieces that he's currently working on.
