The Jury Process
The Jurors use a silent and anonymous method of voting. Artists must receive at least 5 out of 7 votes in their favor to be accepted in the categories of painting, graphics or sculpture and at least 4 out of 5 votes in their favor to be accepted in the category of photography. Work that receives 60/40 votes is reviewed a second time and a juror may then speak up in defense or opposition for an applicant. Applicants are accepted on the quality and professionalism of the artwork. Due to the silent voting process, feedback is not given to applicants who are not accepted.
Artists will be notified by phone if they have been accepted or by email if they have not been accepted for membership. It takes time for us to reach everyone, so please be patient - you will be contacted. Approximately two works by each artist who is accepted as a new member will be selected by the jury to be included in the New Members Show.
(Application Fee will be subtracted if accepted as a member)
Painting, Graphics, Sculpture: $150
Please read the application carefully for all requirements, liability and acceptance information.
